Turning The Clock Back

Starting July 11th, this women-only group is designed to encourage and empower women ages 50+ to take charge of their health through education, accountability, and community. Together, we'll explore practical ways to improve overall wellness, increase energy, manage common midlife health challenges, and build sustainable habits that support healthy aging. Whether your goal is to feel stronger, healthier, or more vibrant, this group will provide encouragement and tools to help you flourish in this season of life.

Why Golf?

Led by Larry Estep

Co-Ed 18+ | Weekly | Wednesday’s | 6:00pm-7:00pm

Starting July 8th, we'll meet at the driving range to learn the fundamentals of golf, develop a solid swing, and enjoy fellowship in a relaxed and encouraging environment. All experience levels are welcome. As the group progresses, we may even schedule tee times and take our game to the course. Come discover a new perspective on golf while building community along the way!

First Meeting Location: East Potomac Golf Range

Seated Strength

Led by Maria Edmonds & Maryann Murphy

Co-Ed 18+ | Weekly | Wednesday’s | 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Starting July 8th, this group offers simple chair-based exercises designed for all fitness levels, making it easy for everyone to move their body, increase strength and flexibility, and enjoy community along the way. Location: DC campus

Materials: Bring a towel and water bottle. Comfortable clothing and shoes encouraged.

Book Club

Led by Victoria Roach & Jordan Estep

Women 18+ | Weekly | Thursday’s | 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Starting July 9th, join a community of women who love to read, learn, and grow together. This book club provides a welcoming space to discuss inspiring books, share perspectives, build meaningful connections, and encourage one another in faith and everyday life.

We will vote on book at time of registration. Book purchase required.

How To Discover Your Purpose & Pursue It

Led by Sabrena Songowa

Co-Ed 18+ | Weekly | Saturday’s | 10:00am - 11:30am

Starting July 11th, discover the unique purpose and calling God has placed on your life. Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, personal reflection, and practical take-home exercises, participants will gain greater clarity about their God-given strengths and gifts, overcome obstacles that may be holding them back, and develop actionable steps toward living with greater confidence, purpose, and impact.

Location: DC campus

Materials: Bring a journal or notebook and writing utensils.

Fitness Walking & Hiking

Led by Chris McLeod and Rick Jones

Co-Ed 18+ | Bi-weekly | Saturday’s | 8:00am - 9:30am

Starting July 11th, join us as we walk, connect, and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. This group offers a fun and encouraging way to stay active. We'll gather at various parks and walking trails to enjoy light exercise, build relationships, and take in the scenic views of nature. First Location: National Mall

No one under 18 allowed without a parent or guardian.

Meeting Location varies and will be announced the week of.

Strollers welcome only when paved path is available.

What happens if a group is full?

Once capacity is reached, registration closes automatically. You’ll need to select another available group.

Can I join more than one group?

We recommend one group per season to build deeper community.

Is there a cost?

All church campus groups are free to join, but check with your group leader about cost of supplies for any off campus groups.

How can I contact you?

After registration, your group leader will be your point of contact. They will share any updates or changes with you via their preferred contact method.

Is there childcare?

No, at this time there is no childcare provided.

Can my child attend groups too?

Our summer small groups are generally intended for adults unless otherwise specified in the group description. Any child-friendly accommodations will be noted in the group details. If you have questions about a particular group, please contact the group leader for guidance.
